MSD Floor life reset and Drying
Function |
a certain time, we need to bake it before SMD. According to
latest IPC Standard regarding to reset its floor life in
order to
extend its storage time for safety reason, Current 125℃ oven
baking process is not fully to meet some MSD with
new material and packing which is not allowed been baking
under such high temperature. |

Disadvantages of 125℃ baking process: |
1. Since reel and tray material are widely used for SMD
equipment, which are not suitable for working under high
temperature.
2. Others like RF-4, Capacitors, batteries etc can not stand
for high temperature continuously and chemical compound
might be formed on OSP PCB due to oxidation, which has a
possibility to cause defects during reflow process.
3. High temperature baking is similar to do stress test,
which face to increase defects after this process. Without
certain
analyzing check after this process, defects parts mounted on
PCB cause low yields or latent quality problem. |
